Senior Infants have been super busy learning all about the post office and what the postal workers do! They even had a very special visitor to school one day.....
We had a post office in our classroom! We had great fun in our role - play corner pretending to be post-office workers! We wrote lots of letters and posted them in our class postbox!!

A Special visitor came to see Senior Infants ... it was Postman Connor!
He told us all about the post - office and the job that he does when he is delivering our letters. We prepared lots of questions for him. He showed us a video on how the post is sorted and organised in the sorting office!
We went on a walk to visit a real post-office! We made cards for our Mum's and Dad's and we went to Corduff to post them. Teacher gave us a stamp and we put it on our letter. Here we are on our walk to Corduff post-office...
